The library collection of the Polonus Philatelic Society consists of books, journals, and historical
references related to Poland and the Polish postal system. The mission of the Polonus Library is
to provide access to scholarly writings and historical references related to Polish philately
thereby increasing awareness, encouraging collecting, and supporting exhibition of Polish postal
materials.
Goals for the library over the next year include:
1. Cataloging the current material (Completed but needs editing);
2. Providing access to the catalog through the website;
3. Evaluating Polonus member’s research and reference needs (could be accomplished
through a survey included in the yearly dues billing);
4. Expanding the library’s holdings; and
5. Encouraging awareness and use of the library and materials:
