| For the typographic overprints, two printing plates were prepared and were designated by Mikstein as Forms 1 and 2. The Form 2 printing plate was reset at least 4 times which generated Form 2 sub forms A, B, C, D and E. The table below lists the Forms and the stamps values overprinted with each. Forms 3 and 4 were used for the lithographic overprints. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| There are 3 major varieties of Form 1, 1 major variety of Form 2, and 1 major variety of Form 4. These are illustrated below.
Inverted overprints are known only on the 6h, 40h, 50h, 60h, 80h and 15h postage due values. Double overprints are known only on the 40h and 80h and 50/42h postage due values. |
